EARLY TRINIDAD COVERS (Updated June 2021)

When the BWISC published the book TRINIDAD – A Philatelic History to 1913 by Marriott, Medlicott and Ramkissoon, the final Appendix listed all early covers known to us at the time. The listing included all covers bearing imperforate adhesives up to and including 1860. This list on our website has links to the images that we have in our possession.

Of course, this listing was always going to be far from complete; any viewer who possesses a cover meeting the above criterion is asked to send to info@wipsg.org a scanned image (300dpi min) of the front and rear of the cover, preferably on a black background. Also, some of the linked images are far from ideal; it may be that there is only a portion of the cover available from an auction catalogue, maybe the image is of poor resolution. Either way, we need better images and only you can help. Thank you.
