When the A01 numeral was first issued in 1858 three more or less identical brass handstamps were sent to Kingston. On this attractive page we offer 15 pines cancelled with these type ‘A’ instruments, in use until 1863. The full set is here, just one 2d and 3d, but with additional shades of the 1d, 4d, 6d and 1s.
